Manger- EPOS Application Support

Job Location: New Delhi
Number of positions: 1

Application Development:

∙ Overseas the develop and Implement Software Development Lifecycle Process for GMR Airport business environment – for LS Retail, Nukkad Shop POS Application & related Apps environment.

∙ Coordinate with Business teams to identify functional requirements, conduct feasibility study as needed, documenting Systems Requirement and prepare detailed system design.

∙ Evaluate final design in order to identify potential problem areas, and make appropriate recommendations to ensure that –

Development projects meet business requirements.

Required operations and financial controls are in place.

New software integrates into existing systems and overall software landscape.

∙ Monitor and Publish Project delivery Schedule.

∙ Conducts regular reviews with project stakeholders.

∙ Ensure test plans are developed and required testing (Unit, Integration and User Testing) is conducted before releasing to Production environment.

∙ Ensure keep maintaining the application versioning for audit trail.

Application support

∙ Conduct regular reviews with Application Support team & End users to identify bugs and top issues reported by stores to improve existing application performance and error-free running.

∙ Visit Stores and other business transaction points to review and analyze existing application effectiveness and efficiency and prepare plan for constantly improving existing application.

∙ To build an effective support helpdesk for timely resolution of issues. Develop and deploy suitable processes.

Application Rollouts and Version Management

∙ Design and manage application rollout process across Store Servers/ POS

∙ Oversight of monthly/quarterly application rollout plan, drives, and monitor and publish rollout plan status.

∙ Ensure version management compliance to make sure same version of software objects and configuration is running on POS at every store.

Vendor Management

∙ Manage relationships with multiple software development vendors.

∙ Quarterly tracking; Review delivery and performance against defined vendor performance parameters.

New Product evaluation

∙ Lead technology driven projects to evaluate software products, solutions, and cutting-edge technology for in store environment to enhance consumer experience and provide competitive edge.

∙ Document Business Requirement / Challenges

∙ Study the product / solutions. Prepare evaluation criteria.

∙ Identify vendors / products, conduct POC (Proof of Concept)

∙ Evaluate options and present recommendations to IT Leadership team
