Job Purpose
As a Lead for Network Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the network infrastructure within the organization. You will lead a team of network professionals, ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of the network environment. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing network best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Key Responsibilities
Network Operations Management:
Manage and supervise the network operations team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s network infrastructure.
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
Identify and resolve network-related incidents, outages, and performance issues in a timely manner.
Implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and potential threats.
Ensure compliance with network-related policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Network Infrastructure Planning and Deployment:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and develop network infrastructure plans.
Participate in the evaluation, selection, and deployment of network hardware, software, and tools.
Coordinate and execute network configuration changes, upgrades, and migrations.
Conduct network capacity planning and forecasting to support future business needs.
Network Performance Optimization:
Proactively monitor and analyze network traffic, performance metrics, and utilization patterns.
Identify areas of improvement and implement optimization strategies to enhance network performance and efficiency.
Conduct periodic network audits to ensure adherence to performance and security standards.
Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to understand network requirements and align network services with organizational goals.
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and external partners to ensure smooth network operations and service delivery.
Communicate network-related updates, issues, and project statuses to relevant stakeholders.
Act as a technical escalation point for network-related incidents and provide timely resolution.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network infrastructure, configurations, and processes.
Prepare regular reports on network performance, incidents, and capacity utilization.
Contribute to the development of network-related policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Educational Qualifications
Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant skills & Experience
Proven experience (7 plus years) in network operations, with a focus on managing enterprise-level networks.
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and architectures (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, MPLS, routing, switching, etc.).
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds).
Proficient in network troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with network hardware and software vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.).
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, etc.) are a plus.

We provide end-to-end IT Concession at airports through which we have built significant experience in this sector over the past few years.

We have a strong and stable client portfolio which we aim to leverage and grow the Services portfolio and Services Business. This includes but is not limited to IT Managed Services and a couple of Services/Products. We are building digital and transformation capabilities to complement the IT Managed service to create value for our customers. The current leadership of the company has both domestic and global experience in building and running high performance Digital First, Service organizations and over 20+ years in the ITES sector.

As we embark on taking WAISL to the next level and we focus on – larger revenue, a larger customer base (Growth Engine), enhanced portfolio (Managed Services, New Digital Services/Products, Airport Services Platform etc.) and building a strong Digital Team backed by a strong Engineering DNA of the Organization (People, System Engineering).  Current revenues are at approx. US $50 million, largely secured by long-term contracts. Vision is to scale it up to $500 Mn in the next 5 years with a client portfolio of both domestic and global airports and related adjacencies.
