Position – TallyPrime Functional Consultant
As a TallyPrime Functional Consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing, configuring, and maintaining TallyPrime accounting software for our organization. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements, customizing the software to meet those needs with Tally technology partner, and providing support and training to end-users. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and TallyPrime software functionality.
Key Responsibilities
∙ Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand their accounting and financial management requirements.
∙ Translate business needs into TallyPrime software configuration and customization requirements along with Tally technology partner.
∙ Stay up to date with TallyPrime updates and new features.
∙ Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements to TallyPrime functionality.
∙ Provide recommendations for optimizing the use of TallyPrime to improve financial processes.
∙ Maintain comprehensive documentation of TallyPrime configurations, customizations, and user guides.
∙ Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for TallyPrime usage.
∙ Provide training to end-users on TallyPrime functionality and best practices.
∙ Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or functional issues that users encounter.
∙ Assist in data migration and ensure data accuracy during system transitions.
∙ Configure and customize TallyPrime software to meet specific business requirements.
∙ Set up chart of accounts, tax structures, and other accounting parameters.
∙ Define user roles and permissions to ensure data security and access control.
∙ Integrate TallyPrime with other software systems if necessary.

Qualification and Skills Required
∙ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
∙ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
∙ 5+ years of work experience as functional consultant for Tally Prime or similar role.
∙ TallyPrime certification.
∙ Good to have experience with other accounting software systems.
∙ Project management skills.
∙ Proficiency in accounting software (Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
∙ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
∙ Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
