Manager – IT (Change Risk and Problem Management)

JOB PURPOSE

 

The primary responsibility of IT change ,problem & risk manager is to develop and implement management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of required processes. These responsibilities

also include plans and efforts to anticipate and minimize resistant behaviors from employees and stakeholders

who are required to & impacted by the processes of Change, Problem & Risk management.

The goal is to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of process, and proficiency with the change, risk

& problem management strategies that impact employees who must use the ITIL & ISO 20 & 27K processes in

their daily work. These improvements increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI, and the achievement of

results and outcomes.

 

 

Apply a structured methodology and lead change, risk & Problem management activities

Leverage a change management methodology, process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes

required by a project or initiative. Conducts risk assessments, collecting and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports,

and trends. Conduct periodic problem review of open problems & ensure SLA adherence w.r.t to concession agreement.

Support communication efforts

Enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications.

Assess the change impact & Risk arising out of problems or due to strategic direction of the organization

Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.

Support training efforts

Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.

Additional responsibilities:

Complete change management assessments

Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics.

Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance.

Consult and coach project teams.

Create actionable deliverables for the core change management plans: Sponsor Plan, People Manager Plan,

Communications Plan, and Training Plan

 

Create actionable deliverables for any required “Extend” plans, such as the Resistance & Risk Management Plan

Coach people managers and supervisors

Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities

Coordinate efforts with other specialists

Integrate change , Problem & Risk Management activities into IT operations of Airports.

Evaluate and ensure user readiness.

Manage stakeholders.

Track and report issues

Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.

Support change management at the organizational level

Manage the change, problem & Risk portfolio

Establishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organizations services and IT processes.

Reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols; makes recommendations and implements modifications and

improvements.

Recommends and implements risk management solutions such as technical & non-technical risks w.r.t to Airports IT,

security policies, business continuity plans, or recovery measures.

Reviews and analyzes metrics and data that could uncover risks associate with various domains

Drafts and presents risk reports and proposals to leadership and senior staff.

Continual Service Improvement – SIP/QIP Domain Specific improvements w.r.t to Airport IT systems.

NC closure in Audits.

Vendor Management & coordination in resolving issues.

Self-Learning in across the domains to have a better understanding of the processes & airport IT.

Overseeing facility operations such as security, maintenance, and cleaning staffto ensure that work is performed in a timely

manner.

Planning for future needs of the company by assessing storage capacity requirements for current and future projects.

Developing a disaster recovery plan for the data center that includes procedures for backing up data and recovering from

equipment failure or natural disaster.

Reporting KRI’s for DIAL & ensuring that all risks are well within limits.

Planning patch upgrades, ensuring minimum downtimes during change windows.

Ensuring Cyber security parameters & Vulnerabilities w.r.t to Servers, Storage & other Infra is compliant with the best

practices & ISO 27001 requirements.

Facilitate VAPT , KRI & Other Audits both security & operations related for DIAL .
